Chronicles of the Transition Process

**Caveat: this list does not include all things necessary. It should be added to and edited as contributors see fit.


Voting

=should take place in February so that new officers can contribute to administrative decisions that will directly affect them, ie. room reservations for next semester’s events and meetings

Contacts

- new officers must be able to gain access to organization main email accounts via

      + fwded emails to personal accounts / linked account names

      + daily checks of org’s email thru regular password

- update access and management tasks to listservs/googlegroups, facebook groups, blogs, website, etc.

- a phone tree should be compiled by the new secretary after the outgoing presidents have provided both elected cabinets with contact information including, but not limited to

      + skype, AIM, googletalk

      + emails (if gmail available, use that one)

      + facebook eachother!

      + phone numbers

      + have an idea of who lives where to facilitate in-person meetings and high council meetings for the next year

Financials

liquidating current budget’s allocations to prepare for the following semester

Room Reservations

following the requirements of both constitutions, the president and vice president should get together to decide which day of the week they can both be available for.

rooms in stamp must be reserved one semester in advance, as should AV equiptment

student involvement suite office

      + new officers should be highly involved in the consolidation process of the accumulated nonsense present in the office

      + all items that can be transformed into virtual states should be stored on the office computer

      + all equiptment, books, art that are not owned by individuals can be auctioned off to accommodate office space
